Succinct. I truly enjoyed this read. The inability to recognize the detrimental effects of PDA, or even its presence in their behavior and the expectation that others conform - (“that’s the way I am.”)
seems inexcusable.
I can only attribute this to the mind blindness that also accompanies ASD behaviors. They will never see it, or understand its implication on all their relationships.
It forces the neurotypical to be extremely self aware, self advocating, unyielding and detached, in order not to feel yourself become disassembled before your very eyes.
